The Korte Korsjespoortsteeg (en=Short Coursegateway-alley) is a small alley between the Spuistraat and the Singel. This small street is car-free and the entrance to the Oude Nieuwstraat, a pedestrian street filled with windows.

Cornered with the Spuistraat is the Dominicus Church, a nice building, architect: Abraham Cuypers in 1884, with oecumenical services inspired at the Christian tradition, every Sunday.

At the Korte Korsjespoortsteeg is the entrance to the church, ‘Het Middelpunt’, the landlord of all the rooms in this area, and 4 windows filles with all kind of girls.

At the corner with the Singel is my favourite café: Bar Louis.
Nice bar, nice staff and good beer. It’s possible I’m there too with an Affligem!

At the bridge you will find a famous Instagram spot: ‘Amsterdam_bloeit’. All year long there are different kind of flowers, pumpkins, Xmas-trees and other season related flowers, worth a visit when you’re around!
